Katra, Jammu – March 7, 2024: Megadrones Pvt. Ltd. successfully concluded a 3-day workshop on "DGPS and Integration with GIS" for Civil Engineering students at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) from March 4th to 6th, 2024.

This immersive workshop gave students hands-on experience utilising Differential Global Positioning Systems (DGPS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) together. DGPS enhances the accuracy of GPS data collection, while GIS allows for visualisation, analysis, and management of spatial data – invaluable tools for civil engineering projects.

High-Precision Surveying: DGPS ensures more precise data collection during land surveying, a fundamental step in any civil engineering project.
